Ok, this film from (2 of the 6) writers of Scary Movie was just dumb. It had a handful of moments drawn from some of the recent RomComs, but on the whole, it was dumb. All it did was shift one kind of comedy into another and then try too hard to make it funny. RomComs are mostly situational and dramatic humor, while this film was more blatant slapstick, sight gag, and sarcastic humor.
It had a rough storyline that it meandered through, but really was only there as a track to put their sight gags and movie spoofs onto. I really couldn't find any redeemable qualities in this film. I guess its pacing was all right, and I did laugh a few times, but on the whole, it wasn't worth it.
