This 1934 Romantic Comedy starred Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. It was directed by Frank Capra, famous for It's a Wonderful Life and was a big director in the 30's and 40's. It was the first film to win the 5 major oscars: Best Picture, Screenplay, Director, Actor, and Actress.
It deserved them. This film was amazing. It was very funny, had a solid believable plot, good characters, good drama, and really tugged at the heart strings at several points. If you like romantic comedies, and have seen every Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan film, then grab this one. It puts modern romantic comedies to shame.
