This is the 1975 cult classic that was recently remade. This was a weird movie and definitely deserves its cult status, since it isn't for everyone. We spend a lot of time getting to know the town and the characters, but little by little weird stuff starts happening. Soon the heroine's friends start changing and she gets really suspcious of what is going on.
I can't say I liked how it ended, but I will say this is a good movie. I really felt for the main character and her plight and concerns. I was definitely interested in following the story as it unfolded, and genuinely curious of the weirdness going on.
